Red: A Colour that awakens your senses

February is undoubtedly one of the months that I like and enjoy the most in the year.

It is the month of Love, and since I live in Asia, I have learned to know, respect, admire and understand Chinese New Year. And in Korea they celebrate “Lunar New Year”, a tradition par excellence in Asian culture.

But what amazes me the most, is to see the different shades and intensities of RED that are out there!

Have you noticed them?

Here some fantastic red shades…

Which one is your favourite one?

RED RED RED…!

This is a colour that we pay the most of our attention to, it is the warmest and most energetic colour in the spectrum.

It is the colour of confidence, passion, energy, love, aggression, and danger. It raises pulse rates, blood pressure and increases respiration.

It’s associated with strong emotions, and bright red is best worn in moderate to small amounts.

What better, than to look at the  REDS that nature gives us, which we use to show off in different ways, like in clothes, accessories, or simply enjoying a plate of wild fruit..

DID YOU KNOW ?

In China, RED is the colour of prosperity and happiness and may be used to attract good luck.
